Lady Kristiana - Terms and Conditions of Charter

a) Shared Experience Voucher Terms and Conditions

Prices are inclusive of all costs including Fuel, Crew, VAT, Champagne Reception, Food and Drink as per Shared Experience Voucher web page and coffee, tea and soft drinks.

Your voucher(s) will be valid for a period of 12 months from purchase date on a suitable date agreed with you by the vessel operator QED Marine LLP unless otherwise agreed in writing and cost of voucher is non-refundable.

We will endeavour to ensure that you gain maximum enjoyment from your trip by agreeing a convenient charter date with you when we judge the weather is suitable. We will therefore notify you of possible dates 5 days beforehand with a final confirmation 3 days later - if the date is not convenient or the weather changes we will repeat this process until we can find a suitable date for you (and the weather!) to ensure you have an enjoyable cruise.

Please note on Shared Experience Charters you may be accompanied on your charter by a maximum of 11 other guests and 3 crew.

b) Non-Voucher Personal and Corporate Charter Terms and Conditions

Charter fees are fully inclusive of all crew, mooring and fuel costs but exclude Vat unless otherwise stated.

Overnight VIP charters include luxury breakfasts, soft drinks, tea and coffee. Lunch and dinner are not normally included in the cost of the charter (unless otherwise specified) and will normally be taken ashore. If the vessel is not in port however these meals will be provided on-board.

A deposit of 10% of the charter fee is due with the booking and the balance due 42 days before the start of the charter. If the balance is not received by the due date the booking will deemed to have been cancelled and no refunds will be made of deposits paid to date.

In the event of cancellation by guests, which must be made in writing, prior to the commencement of the charter the following cancellation charges will apply;

Cancellation more than 42 days prior to charter date - loss of deposit

Cancellation between 42 days and 14 days of charter date - 50% of the charter fee

Cancellation within 14 days of the charter date - 75% of the charter fee

In the event of bad weather guests will be offered another charter date at no additional cost.

c) General Terms and Conditions applicable to all Charters

Smoking is not allowed on board the vessel at any time

Guests are not permitted to bring alcohol on-board the vessel without prior approval of the company

Guests who, in the sole opinion of the skipper, are a danger to themselves or others due to drink, drugs or their behaviour will be requested to leave the boat at the nearest available port. The company will not be liable for the cost of transportation back to the originating charter port.

Guests should bring non-marking soft soled shoes for use on outside decks and we recommend a lightweight waterproof jacket as well.

All Catering menu options are subject to availability on the day of the charter.

The operating company, QED Marine LLP, reserves the right to cancel any charter for whatever reason at any point and a full refund of deposits and fees paid at the time of the cancellation will be made (vouchers are non-refundable). This will be the full extent of the liability of the company in this situation.

The crew reserve the right to change a planned itinerary taking into account weather forecasts or other factors beyond their control.

QED Marine LLP, its employees, servants, crew and agents do not accept any responsibility for any loss or injury suffered by any person and/or their property unless such loss or damage caused by the negligence of the crew.
